A Notice from the Berkenshire County Records Office

Thank you for visiting Once Upon an Envelope.

Every archive file is carefully assembled by hand before leaving the Records Office. Because each envelope contains individually prepared documents, correspondence and artefacts, please allow a little time for your file to be processed before dispatch.

Archive Release Notice

Archive files are currently available for pre-order.

The first files will begin leaving the Berkenshire County Records Office on 1st September 2026.

If you place a pre-order, you'll receive a confirmation email once your archive has been dispatched.

Processing Times

All archive files are prepared individually.

Please allow 1–3 working days for your order to be processed and prepared for dispatch once files become available.

During particularly busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

United Kingdom Shipping

At present, the Berkenshire County Records Office dispatches archive files within the United Kingdom only.

Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery Times

Once dispatched, most orders should arrive within 3-6 working days.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may occasionally vary.

Order Confirmation and Dispatch Notifications

Once your order has been placed, you'll receive an order confirmation email.

When your archive file leaves the Records Office, you'll receive a second email confirming that it has been dispatched.
